In least developed countries such as Lebanon and Tajikistan, remittances make up fo r more than 20% of their Gross Domestic Prod! uct (GDP). Furthermore, the intermediate emigrant earns a significantly higher measuring of money than he or she would have made in their endemic land. My article argues that emigrants transfer enough money back to their home land over their working lives to cover the measuring pass on educating them several times over.
